WHAT IS OSTEOPATHY?

Osteopathy is a holistic and hands-on approach to healthcare that focuses on the musculoskeletal system and its impact on overall well-being.

We believe that the body is a self-healing mechanism and has the ability to maintain balance when the musculoskeletal system is functioning optimally.

Through a hands-on approach using manual therapy techniques such as stretching, massage, and manipulation we diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including back and neck pain, joint issues, and muscular imbalances.

Osteopathy also emphasises the connection between various body systems, recognizing that problems in one area can lead to issues in others, and therefore aims to address the root cause of symptoms.

As a natural and non-invasive form of therapy, osteopathy has gained popularity for its ability to provide effective relief from pain and promote better mobility and overall health. Osteopaths consider the individual as a whole, taking into account lifestyle, posture, and other factors that may contribute to health concerns.

By restoring balance and harmony within the body's structures, osteopathy aims to optimize the body's inherent ability to heal itself, helping individuals achieve improved physical function and a better quality of life.

Her aim is to keep patients doing the activities they love, whether that is gardening, preparation for long distance events or just being able to sit for long periods in front of a computer screen.
